More December Fun

On the 23rd Jeff took the kids out for a ride behind the 4 wheeler.


Jeff cracked up after sending them flying into the snow banks.

The kids really enjoyed their ride. It was good they had so much fun that day because the next day we sold the 4 wheeler.

We had a great December. Some of our neighbors put together a hay ride. We sang carols and tried to stay warm as we rode through the neighborhood. Afterwards we had hot chocolate and treats in our garage.

Well, I guess the thing about having a blog is actually posting on it. I am really going to try to do better. The Sunday after Thanksgiving we went to see the lights at Temple Square. It was a bit chilly but we had lots of fun. Taking pictures was like pulling teeth though.

Mo tagged me, so here goes. I am supposed to list 6 unspectacular quirks about myself.

1. I am a picky eater. Most people know this about me. I am not good with most veggies and some fruits. Texture seems to be an issue with me.

2. I have a funky pinky finger on my left hand. It doesn't straighten unless I really try to straighten it. I don't think it was ever broken, but who knows.

3. I make funny faces at myself while I am getting ready (or so I am told by my husband). When I fix my hair and put on makeup, Jeff says I pucker my lips a lot and he loves to tease me about it.

4. I am paranoid about spending more on things than I need to. If I buy something and then find out it is cheaper somewhere else, or the next day, then it drives me crazy. When gas prices were going up, I would always watch the price and it would kinda stress me out - should I buy it today, but I don't really need to, but it may go up tomorrow. I know, chill out.

5. I like to load the dishwasher. If someone else tries to help it throws me off. I know, that is a job I should really let my kids help me with, but then I would lose control of where the dishes, bowls, and cups are put.

6. I am hot. No, I know what your thinking, but it is not just that. I sleep hot. Jeff calls me his little heater because I am always roasting in bed. And even though I sleep hot, I always have to have a blanket on me.


So, yeah I'm kinda weird, but doesn't that make me normal too. I don't think I can handle tagging 6 people since I'm so new at this, but I will tag my sister :) Have fun sis.

Man, October sure went by fast. It was a fun month though. We had a great time at Black Island Farms and Trick-or-Treating.

Ok, I did it. I started a blog. In time I will get more creative and try to add lots of fun stuff, but for now, at least it's a start.
