Ropes Course!!

Since Jeff isn't working on Saturdays right now, we decided to go as a family to one of the Weber County free activities. We all had a great time trying out the Boy Scouts ropes course. Jeff took it very seriously.

Jeff was able to try the most things. Ethan could have participated but he wasn't interested. He would rather just sit and watch.

Brock, Hayley and Paige were able to attempt the rock wall. Hayley made it the highest, but they all got a little nervous up in the air.

We had the most fun watching Jeff on the zip line. I think he kinda had fun too.

Salem Spring Tri

SWIM

BIKE

RUN

Jeff completed yet another Sprint Triathalon. We all enjoyed watching him race. The kids had fun throwing rocks into the pond as we waited for Jeff (don't worry, we waited until all the swimmers were out of the water first).

Jeff had a successful race this year, bettering his time by about 3 minutes.

We didn't fall off the end of the earth!

Ok, so it has been forever since I have posted anything. First our hard drive crashed and I thought I lost all of my pictures (I think I recovered most of them). Then I couldn't find my new camera's disk so I could download all my new pictures. Then Jeff lost his job and then we went on vacation. Soooo, things have been a little abnormal around here - not to mention that it is summer and that always throws us off too. I am really not even sure where to begin. I guess I will start by posting random pictures from the last few months.

Brock finished up his soccer season. He had a blast playing with this team and he had a really good coach so mom and dad enjoyed this season as well.

We loved watching Ethan, Brock and Hayley's performances at school.

Jeff and Hayley had a special Father/Daughter activity days pinewood derby. Hayley absolutely loved it. She has watched her brothers compete as cub scouts and she was excited to have her turn.

Brock, Hayley and Paige loved crazy hair day at school.

Paige graduated from kindergarten and posed with her teacher Mrs. Crowton. She had a great year!

Brock was able to compete in the Rain-gutter Regata. He was disappointed that he didn't come in first but he had fun racing.

Well, that catches us up a little bit, but there will be more to come. At least you all know we are still alive around here :0)

New Camera

We recently purchased a new camera. It is fun to play with but I have a lot to learn before I start taking really nice pictures. I need to spend several hours learning all it can do, I may even take a class. Here are some of the first pics we've taken.

I think this is literally the first picture I took. Cute little model.

After a Sunday walk a couple weeks ago I took out the camera to mess around with. Here are some of the ones I like the best.

Brock thinks this one is cool.

We tried getting some action shots of Hayley. They were kinda fun to try.

Ethan was rather illusive. He wasn't too fond of posing for pictures. I even tried to catch him unawares. Here he is laughing at my attempts.

Sleepover

Brock, Hayley and Paige love having sleepovers together. They especially love doing it in a fort that dad makes.

I am not sure how much sleep they actually got but they have fun trying. I am just glad they still like to spend time together.

Let's go fly a kite!!

Last month Jeff took the kids to the park to fly kites. They had a blast and really got the hang of it.

They even got to climb a tree too. Climbing trees is one of Hayley's favorite things to do these days. She is pretty good at it too. Paige likes to do everything that Hayley does but she needs a little more help.

Tub full of fun!

We had a week off school for Spring Break and the kids got creative. They begged and begged for me to let them put their toys in the tub. I normally do not allow this (for whatever reason - the kids say it is because I am a mean mom). I decided that it would be ok this time and they had a blast. My only rules were to not get in the tub with the toys and to not splash all over the floor. They did pretty good, except for when Brock "fell" in.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter in conjunction with Conference this year. We all enjoyed listening to the talks and anticipating when President Monson would speak about my dear cousin Jason who passed away last year. It made conference and the season all the more memorable.

The easter bunny came after the morning session.

Paige and her cousins were eagerly awaiting their turn to run out and collect all the goodies he brought.

The easter bunny had to get creative with Ethan's basket. He loved that it was up high.

The kids got way more candy then was good for them, but they didn't mind.

Ethan even got a chance to help out in the kitchen with Grandma.
